| GENERAL |

Junior
16 and Under playing varsity
All junior players ages 16 and
under as of midnight May 31st of the playing year must register with the
Metro Toronto Junior Wildcats. At such time as both Junior and
Varsity coaching staffs agree that a 16 yr old will benefit less
from playing junior than he/she would varsity will that player
be moved to the formal Varsity roster, contingent on the players
desire to do so. No player will be moved from the junior roster
if such a move would jeopardize the ability of the junior team
from fielding an appropriate number of players. This decision
must take place prior to the first regular season game of that
season

Registration/Fees
Before a player can qualify to receive equipment and practice,
each must submit
• $450 varsity/Junior & $400 Peewee playing fee paid on date of registration by cheque, money
order, cash
• $30 insurance cheque made payable to the OVFL
• $100 refundable equipment deposit by cheque, money order, cash
• OVFL Registration Form
• Player Code of Contract
• Player Privacy Form ****Cheques payable to the Metro
Toronto Wildcats****

3.

Refunds
Refunds will be issued based
on the following:
If off the team for any reason before May 18,2008: $350 refund
Varsity/Junior & $300 Peewee
If off the team for any reason after June 8, 2008: no refund
Between May 18 and June 8: No refund unless off the team for
football-related injury reasons. If injury is determined
then a $350 refund will be issued.
*Notification of withdrawal must be given to the team by phone,
email or in person prior to the deadlines. |

Misconduct
a) Automatic Dismissal
Any verbal or physical abuse of Wildcat Staff or management.
b) Equipment Abuse
Warnings will be issued for first offense followed by penalty for second and
reduced playing privileges after that.
c) Verbal Abuse
Any excessive use of vulgarity or swearing will be dealt with through the
warning - penalty - reduced playing privilege model. |

Equipment Return
All players must return all LPFAA and Metro Toronto Wildcat property, equipment and
uniforms at a date to be announced after the final game of the season and no
later that September 1 or termination from team with
the exception of practice jersey, t-shirt and shorts. |
| 6.
|
Alcohol/Drugs
There will be no tolerance for drugs or alcohol on this team. Any player
under the influence of drugs or alcohol during practice or a game will be immediately
terminated from the team, no questions asked. |
| 7.
|
Theft
Any player found with another players belongings, equipment or uniform without that
players consent will be dismissed from the team. No questions asked.
|
| 8.
|
Grievances
Any player who feels he has a legitimate grievance will approach his unit coach in
a respectful manner outside of game time. The player will not complain to teammates during
games. The issue will be dealt with one-on-one with the appropriate party. |
| 9.
|
Game Tape
Although every effort is made to ensure game film is made available after each
game, it is not guaranteed. |

Trainers
Tape
Players requesting taping outside the mandate of the trainer must
purchase tape rolls at $4.00/roll |
| 11.
|
Releases
A player living in our territory has to play either with the
Wildcats or the Thunder and that once a player signs on with the Wildcats he is not entitled to play anywhere else unless he moves. |
| GAME |
| 1.
|
Transportation
a) All players are to arrive at school no later than team meeting,
45 minutes prior to departure.
b) Unless for special circumstances as defined by the Head Coach
,all players must travel with team on bus to game. Players may make their own way home only
after confirming with the Head Coach.
c) Misconduct (swearing, littering, throwing anything out of bus) will result in
stripping of starting or playing privileges
at discretion of coaching staff |

Home games
a) Unexcused Lateness
Any player who arrives after designated meeting time with unexcused
lateness will meet with coaches for appropriate disciplinary action
|
| 3.
|
Game Discipline
Any excessive lack of discipline:
-fighting
-challenging opponents bench -challenging or disrespect of coaching
staff, administration or training staff
-verbal abuse of referees
Player will meet with coaches for appropriate disciplinary action
ranging from reduction of playing privileges to termination. |

Playing Time
Your playing fee does not guarantee playing time. See grievances (General
8). |
| 5.
|
Uniform/Equipment
Any player forgetting equipment or any part of the uniform will be penalized after
the first practice following that game. |
| PRACTICE |
| 1.
|
Lateness
a) All players late for practice will do penalty endurance work after practice
b)
Persistent lateness will result in a reduction of playing privileges |
| 2.
|
Missed Practice
** Attendance will be taken at each practice
a) Players must attend all practices to qualify to play/start in following game.
b) Unexcused Absence
i. Player will meet with coaches for appropriate disciplinary
action. Third party reporting will not be accepted.
c) Excused Absence
i. Players who must miss practice must report to unit coach prior to
practice. Third party reporting will not be accepted.
ii. Players who miss practice for a doctors appointment must report to the
therapist with a doctors note or will not play in next game.
iii. Prolonged absences for any reason will result in dismissal from the team

| 3.

Practice Uniform
Players must not wear any game uniform attire during practice. Practice jerseys or
lights uniform must be worn or penalties applied. |
| 4.
|
Equipment
All players must not remove equipment before entering the locker
room. |
