Dedicated professional with 10 years of increasingly-responsible experience gained at York University, 9 years of simultaneous progressive experience through the Ontario Varsity Football League, and 10 years of recruiting experience at the university level. 12 years of experience coaching at the senior varsity level in the OVFL. 10 years as head coach and 2 years as assistant head coach.   Take pride in maintaining a winning record of 62 wins/ 24 losses/ 1 overtime loss with 3 Provincial Championships in a highly-competitive football league.  Offer the added benefit of 12 concurrent years of experience as a Strength Coach.  Began football career playing Offensive/Defensive Line and regularly selected by coach to start in virtually every game.  Passionately committed to contributing to MTW's positive image by stressing the value of sportsmanship, ongoing learning and development.

  • Collaborated with newly-hired Offensive Co-Ordinator to create and update offensive play-book; personally accountable for overseeing all blocking schemes and assisted in run game co-ordination (York University)
  • Nominated twice (2001 and 2002) for the Gino Fracas Award as the most outstanding volunteer coach (York University)
  • Selected consecutive years by peers OVFL coach of the year (Wettges Conference) 2009 and 2010.
  • Picked to serve as Varsity Head Coach for all-star game in 2003 and 2004 (Ontario Varsity Football League – East)

  • As Assistant Head Coach, guided Toronto Thunder to secure 2001 championship (Ontario Varsity Football League)

  • Chosen by Head Coach as All-Star Coach – T.S.S.A.A. Team for 1994 and 1995 (Toronto Secondary School Athletic Association)
