Frequently Asked Questions
Why do your registration forms say C.O.M.F.L. ?
You are registering to play tackle football in the Central Ontario Minor Football League when you sign these forms. The forms are prepared by the league but you are registering with our club which is a member of that league.
Do all players receive equal playing time in this league?
The program is classified as a 'rep' league and some players will get more field time when a game situation requires more advanced players. Safety considerations will also affect positional assignments and the amount of game day field time.

The club plays across central Ontario against other clubs such as Burlington, Markham, Newmarket, Oshawa, Scarborough, Clarington, Brampton and Pickering. (Some clubs do not field teams in every age division).

I'm trying to understand the age and weight charts posted in the Divisions pages. For instance the entry in the weight chart for the year I was born says 140 pounds. What does that mean?
It means that to be eligible to play in that division, you must weigh in at 140 pounds or less. If you are heavier than the posted weight for your year of birth, you may still be eligible to play, however you will be obliged by the rules to play in a higher divison which will consist mainly of older players.
