Pelle Jorgen
"This kid is a real athlete, but yesterday the light
came on. It was his coming out party as a running back. I know he scored
four touchdowns and had many yards. But it was how he began reading his
blockers, cutting back instead of just running to sideline, running down
hill making a hole where there was no hole, and just plain running hard.
To be an athlete and being a football player to me are different things,
Saturday Pelle took his first steps to being a football player.

Malcolm Scantlebury
"
Malcolm Scantlebury is a throwback to the early days of
platoon football. Last week he was Offensive Player of the week, as a
fullback, wildcat QB slash punter. This week he was the leader of a
swarming defence that stymied Markham all day long. I said it last week,
Malcolm does not know how to shut his motor down, he goes full every
play, in games and practices. Malcolm has great speed and agility for a
man his size. He has the potential to be the best defender to come out
of MTW peewee. He will be a force to reckoned with for many years with
our organization." |
