University MTW Highlights Week 2 |
Matty back at Saginaw After being Drafted by Argos
Former
VCat superstar corner, OVFL All-Star, Walk of Famer, and Team Canada GFC
Champion Matt Black has returned to
Saginaw Valley State for his final year after being drafted by the
Toronto Argonauts. The SVSU Cardinals are happy for it too. He
contributed to the 'Cards 23-17 win over grand valley State with 3 solos
, 1 assist and a 23 yard KO return. H e is another Cat that always shows
up at MTW games (as you can see with Clutterbuck in the pick down the
middle of the page) and of course in support of his
VCat brother Eric who could
be another one. Check out his Fame Video

Blair Powers Huskies to Win over Axeman
Former
VCat and Walk of Famer bruiser back Allistair Blair, a key
to the OVFL
Final 4 2005 VCat run, led
his team in rushing with 72 yards on 14 carries and 1 catch for 4
in a 14-12 win. The 5'10" 225 lb Allistair took over the starting spot
this year. At left you see Allistair in action against Sauga in '04. He
was
also the man that scored the winning TD in our first ever win over the
Thunder in '04. You'll see it in his Walk of fame Video
here. |
Ioannides Has Huge Game For Gaels
What
a day for Former VCat Chris Ioannides. In Queens' 41-30 win over Guelph
on the Score TV Saturday, Chris had 7 catches for 126 yards, 2 TD's and
a long of 37. He is one of 6 former MTW players on the squad. |
